##**CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS - MINUTE_MAPP 2024**

MAPP_MTL invites you to participate in MINUTE_MAPP to be presented between September 26 and 28, 2024 at the Van Horne Skatepark in Montreal as part of the 9th edition of the MAPP_MTL festival.

MINUTE_MAPP is an open platform for the expression and exploration of new ideas in the form of 60-second mapping projections. The creative surface is the façade of the iconic Million Tapis et Tuiles in front of the Van Horne Skatepark, and this year's theme is PERSPECTIVES.

A prestigious jury will award a prize to their favorite MINUTE_MAPP. The event will also be broadcast online, where the audience can vote for the People's Choice Award.

MINUTE_MAPP was launched in Montreal in 2013 and features a diverse range of creators from different backgrounds, many of whom are experimenting with this form of creation for the first time.

MAPP x Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse (OFQJ) in France offer a bursary to French artists to participate in the MAPP_MTL 2024 festival in Montreal! 

On May 10 and 11 from 5pm to 11pm, join artist TÉO at the Station de l'Avenir at the Santa Teresa Festival! La Station de l'Avenir is a solar-powered mobile digital creation station, where you can create animations using an iPad, which will be projected in real time to illuminate buildings in the neighborhood! You can also discover the mapping creations created by young people during mediation workshops with the Maison des jeunes and Carrefour jeunesse de Sainte-Thérèse.

**FESTIVAL SANTA TERESA**
The Santa Teresa Festival takes place from May 9 to 12, 2024. 
Created in 2017, Santa Teresa is an alternative music festival that brings together small and large artists from the local and international scene. Since its inception, it has immersed festival-goers in a suburban universe that allows them to discover a fresh and eclectic program on indoor, outdoor and pop-up stages throughout the streets of the picturesque village of Sainte-Thérèse!  

**ARTISTE**
TEO @teoleroo is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Montreal, originally from Toulouse. His style is defined by dynamic, benevolent creations combining exaggerated characters and abstract landscapes. Through muralism, projection mapping and installation, TEO turns public space into a veritable playground for exploration. Drawing inspiration from relational dynamics, the queer community and nature, his work links these influences to values of inclusion and sharing. With the aim of creating optimistic, inclusive compositions.

Station de l'Avenir at the Santa Teresa Festival

On May 10 and 11, from 5pm to 11pm, take part in the Santa Teresa Festival at Station de l'Avenir with artist TÉO!

MAPP_MTL, Montreal's international projection mapping festival, returns for its 9th edition from September 25 to 28, 2024! On the program: mapping projections, electronic music performances, food stands, local merchants, as well as creative and screen-printing workshops, all in a neighborhood party atmosphere!

A mobile, solar-powered digital creation station. During the day, the Station de l'Avenir transforms itself into a workshop that collects animations and drawings from the public. When night falls, the creations are projected and come to life, illuminating the buildings in the neighborhood.
