
Founded in 2016 by artist Thien Vu Dang, MAPP is a creative organization whose main mission is to promote the development of projection mapping while offering a showcase for local talent.
By organizing a festival, events and workshops throughout the year that focus on creative innovation, MAPP_MTL is positioning itself as an active player involved in the promotion of this emerging practice, opening a true inclusive dialogue between inhabitants, artists and their neighborhood.

Michel Lemieux is a Quebec multidisciplinary artist of international renown, recognized for his work at the intersection of performing arts and digital arts. Cofounder of Lemieux Pilon 4D Art alongside Victor Pilon, he has created numerous performances and immersive works presented in museums, theaters, and festivals around the world, as well as major productions for Cirque du Soleil. Creator of Cité Mémoire Montréal, the world’s largest urban projection pathway, he has spent more than 30 years developing works that combine technology, storytelling, and emotion, including museum installations, augmented and virtual reality projects, and large-scale immersive experiences presented internationally.

Jason Rodi, founder of NOMADlife.tv, has been active in the field for nearly three decades. Through NOMADslow.tv, he presents an endless film — a stream of consciousness where cinema, live music, performance, and immersive technologies converge. As a cofounder of Moment Factory in the early 2000s, he helped shape the international landscape of immersive arts. He also leads ANTENNAE, a ritual ensemble of more than 30 musicians whose every performance becomes a film-album. His work explores community, the memory of artistic works, and the living archive — a form of cinema that transforms the screen into a portal to the present moment.

Eliane Ellbogen is a lawyer at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and strategy and covers a broad range of sectors including life sciences, emerging technologies, e-commerce, and creative industries. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Federal Court, the Quebec Court of Appeal and Superior Court, the Copyright Board and the Trade-marks Opposition Board. Ellbogen is often invited to speak on copyright, artificial intelligence, and legal issues in the arts, and regularly publishes articles on these topics. Before becoming a lawyer, Ellbogen founded and ran Eastern Bloc, an internationally renowned digital art exhibition center. She continues to be actively involved in the arts community as a member of the board of directors of various organizations.

Danny Perreault is a researcher-creator in digital arts and teaches immersive and interactive experiences at the École des médias de l’UQAM. His research-creation focuses on collaboration, digital scenography, and cocreation between performing arts, technologies, and artificial intelligence. Active on the international scene for more than twenty years, he designs interactive performances and installations presented both on stage and in public spaces, showcased at numerous festivals across Canada, Europe, and Africa. He is cofounder of mXlab and co-researcher within the international Hexagram network.

Radhanath Gagnon is an artist, researcher-creator, and educator specializing in collaborative creation and media technologies. Holding a Ph.D. in Communication (research-creation) from Université du Québec à Montréal, he is currently conducting postdoctoral research at Université de Montréal focused on video mapping. He directs Art Partage, a media arts creation center founded in 2004 in Lanaudière, where he develops cinematic walks, sound journeys, and collective artworks. A lecturer at the École des médias de l’UQAM, he has presented his work in Quebec, Europe, and Latin America. He also served as co-curator of the video mapping project Ondulation alongside the Musée d’art de Joliette

Cindy Tessier-Trudeau is the founder and Executive Director of Livart, a multidisciplinary arts center in Montreal dedicated to artistic creation, presentation, and cultural mediation. For more than eight years, she has developed community-rooted artistic projects where art becomes a catalyst for connection, gathering, and dialogue between audiences. Her work places strong emphasis on families and children by fostering accessible, welcoming, and inclusive experiences. Her background combines cultural organization management, partnership development, venue management, and the production of artistic projects with strong human impact.

Antoine Saint Maur is a multimedia artist and creative director specializing in interactive experiential installations. Her practice pushes the boundaries of immersive experience and storytelling on platforms as diverse as cinema, music, live performance, VR/AR applications, and interactive public installations that connect people with each other and with their environment. Antoine Saint Maur has been part of the MAPP team since its very first edition and contributes to the festival's turnover by providing support and experience.

Thien Vu co-founded SAT_MIX_SESSIONS, Les Minutes, MINUTE_MAPPING and more recently in 2016, MAPP_MTL, the Montreal international projection mapping festival. He was a member of the board of directors of the Conseil des arts de Montréal in 2022 and 2023 where he chaired the digital arts committee. Thien Vu also organizes cultural events around Japanese and Korean culture.

A creative technologist with more than 25 years of experience designing digital and multimedia experiences, she works at the intersection of design, sound, video, code, and storytelling. Her career spans the cultural, educational, television, and digital sectors, where she has developed extensive expertise in art direction, creative project coordination, audiovisual production, UX/UI design, and interactive technologies.

his professional background was built in Paris within the film, documentary, and independent music video industries, where he developed a solid expertise in coordination and production. Now evolving at the intersection of events, audiovisual production, and digital arts, he is guided by a sharp sense of organization and a passion for bringing people together. Combining strong interpersonal skills with hands-on rigor, he is fully dedicated to bringing projects to life, connecting people, and turning every cultural event into a celebration.


Thien Vu Dang est actif sur la scène des arts numériques depuis 2001. Son parcours l'a amené de la Société des arts technologiques (SAT) aux studios Moment Factory. Pauline Barthe is deeply engaged with the ongoing transformations in the creative and cultural industries. With over a decade of experience in cultural communication and marketing, she focuses her collaborations on digital cultures and technologies, digital creation, new media, music, contemporary digital art, and innovation. For several years, she has worked with cultural organizations and festivals across Europe and Canada, including MAPP_MTL, MUTEK, ELEKTRA, Printemps Numérique, École des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, Institut Français de Lisbonne, the International Symposium on Electronic Art – ISEA, and the French Film Festival in Lisbon.
