A cultural mediation activity where we teach a group of participants to create animations, and then project them on the walls of the neighborhood in the evening during a walk.

Description

A turnkey activity to create animated illustrations with the Tagtool application on iPad, followed by projections of these creations assembled by an artist in the form of a moving digital mural.

WORKSHOPS

  • MAPP coordinates tailor-made workshops with 1 artist and 1-2 staff as well as the projection of creations
  • MAPP has 12 iPads as well as various projectors for different types of projection surfaces.
  • The collaborator can provide their iPads if they have the Tagtool Pro application ($25)
  • The workshop lasts between 60 minutes and 120 minutes
  • 1 to 2 participants per iPad Ideally between 10 and 15 participants From 5 to 99 years
  • For digital murals, we recommend at least 3 workshops in order to have an optimal quantity of creation to compose the mural.

The experiences are tailor-made together with the collaborators, the artist and even the participants.

COMPOSITION

The artist who inspires, accompanies and shares his creative process is also responsible for the composition of the mural with the animations created by the public and collected by the mediators.

Allow at least one week between the end of the workshops and the final composition.

A soundtrack can be custom composed or a playlist can be added by the artist during the screening.

PROJECTION

The screening starts 30 minutes after sunset and can continue until the end of the event depending on available electrical resources. MAPP coordinates with the collaborator the choice of the workshop location and projection surfaces.

The projection study, the identification of the surfaces to be preferred during the event, as well as mobile projection are areas of expertise at MAPP.
