MAPP_MTL, the Le Plateau-Mont-Royal borough, CODEM/CJE, École secondaire Jeanne-Mance, Les Petits Frères, and the Société de Développement de l'Avenue Mont-Royal are partnering for a cultural vitality project in Plateau East on Friday, September 25, 2026, as part of Journées de la culture!
To foster intergenerational connections, students from École secondaire Jeanne-Mance will pair up with seniors from Les Petits Frères, affectionately known as Grand·e·s-Ami·e·s (Great Friends). Together, they will share memories and their visions of the neighborhood through a series of workshops hosted by MAPP_MTL.
Schedule:
The Station de l’Avenir is a mobile, solar-powered digital creation station. During the day, it transforms into a workshop collecting public animations and drawings created with Tagtool. At nightfall, these creations are projected to illuminate neighborhood buildings and bring them to life—a magical experience for all ages!
Free food and treats will be available on-site from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM!
